Size guide
The Button Clip GTAW comes in three sizes. Pick the one that matches your TIG torch handle’s outer diameter, not the brand or part number — torches with the same handle OD use the same clip size regardless of who made them.
Small
0.50" – 0.60"
Series 9 / WP-9, CK 9, compact pencil torches
Medium
0.65" – 0.75"
Series 17 / WP-17, PTW-17, CK 17, Fronius TTG — the most common production torch
Large
0.78" – 0.90"
Series 26 / WP-26, Magnum PRO-26, CK 26, Fronius TTW
How to measure your torch handle
- Hold a pair of calipers across the torch handle just behind the cup (not across the cup itself, and not on the cable boot).
- Read the outer diameter (OD) measurement.
- Match the measurement to the Small, Medium, or Large bucket above.
- If you don’t have calipers, find your torch model in the chart below — most production torches fall cleanly into one bucket.

These are nominal values from manufacturer torch lines. Some specific revisions vary slightly — when in doubt, measure your handle OD with calipers and use the Small / Medium / Large ranges above.
